Dillan Wendel (Wharton/Boling) is a junior middle-distance runner and a sprinter for Texas Lutheran.

2020: Wendel was named to the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll for the third-straight year as a Bulldog.

2019: Was named to the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll for the second time since coming to TLU...Won the 800m men’s race at the SCAC Championships with a time of 1:54.99 and earned All-SCAC honors in doing so.

2018: Wendel was named to the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll as a freshman for Texas Lutheran...Was an All-SCAC selection with a second-place finish in the 800m race at the SCAC Championships with a time of 1:57.82.

Wendel is a graduate of Boling High School and was a district champion in the 800m race...He still holds the school record in the 800m race at Boling HS.

Personal: His father is Jason Wendel...He is a finance major.
