Ed Kruse Stadium - Morck Softball Field

Completed in the spring of 2014, Ed Kruse Stadium at Theos Morck Softball Field was the second university softball field in Texas to install artificial turf, an attractive feature considering the Texas thunderstorms in the spring. Centrally located between San Antonio, Houston and Austin, TLU's home field includes Musco Lighting and two 85-foot, two-tiered dugouts. Each dugout has protective netting, installed in 2018. The playing surface has FieldTurf artificial surface throughout its entire playing field, and the stadium has a bleacher-seating capacity of nearly 800 with ample lawn seating availability. The facility also includes a 240 square-foot press box, two bullpens and a batting cage. A restroom and concessions facility is located between the softball facility and nearby Katt-Isbel Baseball Field.

Seguin, Texas

The community of Seguin was established in 1838 by members of Mathew Caldwell's Gonzales Rangers, but was not incorporated until 1853. It was originally called Walnut Springs for the nearby fresh water sources. Just six months later the name was changed to honor Colonel Juan N. Seguin, one of Sam Houston's ablest lieutenants throughout the struggle for Texas' independence. As leader of a dedicated group of Texans of Mexican ancestry, Col. Seguin participated in the great victory at San Jacinto. Later he served as a Republic of Texas Senator and as Mayor of San Antonio.

Tickets will be available at Ed Kruse Stadium. Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for students, senior citizens (65 and older), and spectators under the age of 18 - children two and under are free per day.
