Jalen Starks (San Antonio/Antonian College Prep) is a sophomore who throws the shot put, discus and competes in the hammer throw for Texas Lutheran.

2020: Starks was named to the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll for the second time as a Bulldog.

2019: Was named to the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll for TLU...Won All-SCAC honors in two events at the SCAC Championships...Second-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 47’8 ½” and a third-place finish in the hammer-throw with a distance of 135’5”.

Starks is a graduate of Antonian Preparatory High School in San Antonio...He competed for Coach Moe on the men’s track and field team.

Personal: His parents are Jon and Veronica Starks...He is a communications major.
