NCAA Indoor Championships

The Bulldogs will send two entries (Elijah Jefferson, Gerrit Twitero) in hopes of NCAA individual championships.

Time: All-day (Men's 200 meter prelims/finals - 4:15 p.m. CST Friday, March 10; Men's high jump 3:45 p.m. Saturday, March 11)

SEGUIN, Texas -- After a record breaking indoor season, the Bulldogs have two set on the biggest mark of them all - an individual NCAA championship.

Texas Lutheran men's track and field sends two entries to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships to represent TLU in their respective events. Elijah Jefferson (San Antonio/Construction Careers Academy) will compete in the 200m dash - currently ranking 15th in the nation and second in the West with a season-best time of 21.58 seconds.

Gerrit Twitero (McQueeney/Seguin) travels to Birmingham with eyes on the individual national title in the high jump. Twitero enters the Championships tied for 8th nationally and second overall in the West region on the indoor qualifying list with a season-best mark of 2.05 meters.

Elijah Jefferson will start the competition for the Bulldogs on Friday at 4:15 PM in the first heat of the 200m dash preliminaries. Gerrit Twitero will compete on Saturday in Flight 1 of the high jump at 3:45 PM.
