Texas Lutheran Cross Country Announces 2024 Schedule

SEGUIN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran Cross Country program led by second-year head coach Bri Ratliff announced their 2024 schedule on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs will open their season on Aug. 30 with the Southwestern Stormy Seas Opener hosted by Southwestern in Georgetown before returning to Georgetown for the Southwestern Showdown on Sept. 14.

The Bulldogs will race in two meets hosted by Our Lady of the Lake in Windcrest, Texas in the OLLU Saints Classic (Sept. 20) and the OLLU West Side Classic (Oct. 12) with the DBU Old Glory Gallup sandwiched in-between on Oct. 5. After hosting the SCAC Championships last season, the Bulldogs will travel to Bossier City, LA, for the 2024 championships on Nov. 2 hosted by Centenary College. Postseason play continues with a trip to Portland, OR, for the NCAA West Regionals as the Bulldogs look to wrap their season with a NCAA Cross Country National Championship appearance in Terre Haute, IN.

Texas Lutheran comes off a 2023 season that saw the Bulldogs qualify 11 runners for NCAA regional competition. The Texas Lutheran women's cross country program finished fourth overall at the 2024 SCAC Championships with 124 points while the men finished fifth with 139 points.
