2021: Julia Maciel (San Antonio/Highlands) is a junior cross country runner for Texas Lutheran.
2020-21: Named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight year.
2019: Maciel was named to the SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll as a freshman.
Maciel competed for Coach Monica Acuna at Highlands High School in San Antonio where she was a two-time Regional Qualifier, MVP and KSAT Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Personal: Her mother is Annalisa Maciel. Has one sister, Jenna Maciel. Her major is kinesiology and her minor is business.
