Texas Lutheran Volleyball lands Third in SCAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll
SEGUIN, Texas -- For the first time in program history, the Texas Lutheran volleyball team earned the No. 3 ranking in the SCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, as the league announced on Wednesday.
The Preseason Poll was determined by a vote of the league's 11 head coaches.
Only Trinity, who returns 12 from last season's national quarterfinal run, and Colorado College were picked ahead of Texas Lutheran in the Preseason Coaches Poll. Rounding out the top five behind the Bulldogs were St. Thomas and Southwestern. The conference's two newcomers this year – McMurry and Concordia (TX) – were picked ninth and tenth, respectively.
