No. 1-ranked Colorado College posts three-set victory over Texas Lutheran

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- No. 1-ranked Colorado College registered a three-set conference victory Saturday over Texas Lutheran. The Tigers won 25-15, 25-12, 25-10.
 
CC improved to 10-0 overall and to 10-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
 
TLU fell to 1-7 overall and to 1-7 in the SCAC.
 
The Tigers hit .386 for the match. CC posted 43 kills and just nine errors in 88 attempts.
 
TLU was held to 19 kills on 87 attempts. The Bulldogs made 18 errors and hit .011.
 
Paige Day led TLU with eight kills on 25 attempts. She added seven digs.
 
Kacie Hall had 10 assists and two block assists, and Lexi Morris collected nine digs.
 
Georgia Mullins hit .765 for the Tigers. She had 13 kills and no errors in 17 attempts. She added five block assists.
 
TLU's next two matches are in Georgetown, Texas next Friday. The Bulldogs play Southwestern University at 3 p.m. and at 7 p.m. in Southwestern's Robertson Center.
