Texas Lutheran drops three-set, non-conference match at Huston-Tillotson

AUSTIN -- Texas Lutheran Volleyball dropped a non-conference match Tuesday in three sets to Huston-Tillotson. The Rams posted a 25-11, 28-26, 25-23 victory.
HTU improved to 11-5 overall. TLU dropped to 8-8.
Madison Weisinger led TLU with eight kills and five blocks. Paige Day added five kills, seven digs and three blocks.
Jaci Chambers dished out 11 assists, and Lexi Morris collected 12 digs.
TLU was held to .049 hitting percentage. HTU hit .225 and registered 17 total blocks.
Tiara Thompson had 15 kills for the Rams. Savannah Garza and Keyonne Ganious posted six and five blocks, respectively.
TLU returns to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action Wednesday with a 6:15 match in TLU's Memorial Gymnasium against the University of St. Thomas (Texas).
St. Thomas and Trinity (Texas) play a 4:15 p.m. match Wednesday, also in Memorial Gymnasium.
