
Texas Lutheran Competes in Trinity Last Chance Meet
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's track and field team competed in the Trinity Last Chance Meet hosted by Trinity University in San Antonio on Sunday.
Audrey Malbrough (Selma/Veterans Memorial) was the highlight of Sunday's Mother's Day competition as she won the 1500m run with a time of 4:58.40 while Mackenzie Combs (New Braunfels/Canyon) followed close behind with a time of 5:00.09 to finish in third.
Ciarah Garcia (Pleasanton/Pleasanton) finished third in the triple jump with a final mark of 10.86m (35-7.50).
Alexa Martin (Ingleside/Ingleside) finished second in the javelin throw with a mark of 33.24m (109-1.00) while Kirsten Smith finished third at 30.40m (99-9.00).

A small group of Bulldogs will travel to Rock Island, Illinois, later this week to compete in the Augustana Last Chance meet May 14-15 as the Bulldogs continue their push towards national qualification.
