Kubenka and Rodriguez Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors
NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Sophomore Kenna Kubenka (Hallettsville/Hallettsville) and junior Julissa Rodriguez (Deer Park/Deer Park), secured All-Region honors from the USTFCCCA for their incredible indoor seasons. All-Region honors for the 2024 NCAA Division-III Indoor Track & Field season were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Julissa Rodriguez earns Indoor All-Region for the third consecutive season as she was named All-Region in the shot put (12.31m/40' 4.75") and weight throw (14.00m/45' 11.25").
Kenna Kubenka is a first-time All-Region honoree, also earning All-Region honors in the weight throw (13.70m/44' 11.5").
