Maciel was named to the SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll as a freshman on TLU's women's cross country team
Prior to TLU
Maciel competed for Coach Monica Acuna at Highlands High School in San Antonio where she was a two-time regional qualifier, MVP and KSAT Scholar Athlete of the Week.
