Bulldogs Swept by St. Thomas, 7-0

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) match to St. Thomas Friday afternoon, 7-0, at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs were swept in women's doubles and singles competition.

In doubles competition, the team of Lucero Alvarado (San Antonio/Southwest) and Serenity Cabrera (San Antonio/New Braunfels) fought to a 3-6 conclusion.

In singles, Cabrera fought to a 3-6, 3-6 finish while Lindsay Beville (New Braunfels/Canyon) finished 1-6, 4-6.

Up next, Texas Lutheran faces Dallas in their regular season home finale at the Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center on Saturday, April 12th. First serve is set for 1 PM. Texas Lutheran will honor senior Mercedes Tirado (Seguin/Navarro) prior to Saturday's match.
