Bulldogs Drop Home Match to Covenant, 8-1

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their home match to Covenant College Friday evening, 8-1.

The Bulldogs were swept in doubles competition. The team of Lindsay Beville (New Braunfels/Canyon) and Cooper Lindstrom (San Antonio/TMI Epsicopal) fought to a 5-8 finish.

Freshman Lindsay Beville earned her second collegiate win Friday, winning her singles match 6-2, 6-3.

Up next, Texas Lutheran opens SCAC conference play as they welcome Austin College to Seguin on Saturday, Mar. 2. First serve is set for 11 AM.
