Bulldogs Swept by UMHB, 9-0

Results

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their non-conference match to Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday morning, 9-0, at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs were swept in women's doubles and singles competition.

In doubles competition, the team of Elena Brancaleon (San Antonio/Brandeis) and Victoria Gonzalez (Harlingen/Harlingen) fought to a 7-8 conclusion.

In singles competition, Kayleigh Gardner (El Campo/El Campo) pushed her match to a decisive third set before dropping the match, 3-6, 7-6, 6-10.

Up next, Texas Lutheran returns to SCAC play as they travel to Sherman, Texas, to face the Austin College 'Roos on Saturday, March 4th. First serve is set for 1 PM.
