SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis was swept by the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake, 7-0, Friday afternoon at the Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio in the 2023 season opener.

The Bulldogs were swept in doubles competition. The team of Kaitlyn Enloe (Seguin/Seguin) and Haley Hoffmann (Seguin/Navarro) fought to an 6-3 finish.

Women's tennis would drop all six singles matches. Freshman Christa Bennett (Deer Park/Deer Park) would have a competitive match before falling in straight sets 7-6, 6-3.

Up next, Texas Lutheran will continue non-conference play as they travel to Abilene to face McMurry on Saturday, Feb. 4th. First serve is set for 1 PM.
