Texas Lutheran Competes in Day One of Women's ITA Southwest Regional Championships
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's tennis team competed in day one of the 2022 ITA Southwest Regional Championships Thursday hosted by Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
The Bulldogs dropped both of their singles outings Thursday afternoon in the championship draw.
Paula Acosta (Katy/Cinco Ranch) split her first two sets 5-7, 6-2 before losing the tiebreaker 8-10.
In the same draw, Elena Brancaleon (San Antonio/Louis D. Brandeis) fell in straight sets 1-6, 0-6.
The ITA Southwest Regional Championships continue on Friday with the Bulldogs competing in singles and doubles competition.
