SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their non-conference match against the Sul Ross State Lobos, 5-4, Thursday evening at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.

Due to injury, Texas Lutheran started the match with an 0-3 deficit but would fight to win four of the six matches played.

Texas Lutheran would sweep both doubles matches with teams of Paula Acosta and Kaitlyn Enloe (Seguin/Seguin) and Kayleigh Gardner (El Campo/El Campo) and Haley Hoffmann (Seguin/Navarro) picking up their wins as teams this season.

Acosta and Hoffmann would ride that momentum into singles action as they would pick up additional singles victories. Acosta would win 6-2, 6-0 while Hoffmann would win 7-5, 6-1.

Up next, Texas Lutheran concludes their regular season with a home match against Schreiner on Saturday, April 23. Prior to Saturday's match, Texas Lutheran will recognize its lone women's tennis senior Kaitlyn Enloe. First serve is set for 11 AM.
