TLU Tennis swept by McMurry 5-0

ABILENE, TX -- TLU Men's and Women's Tennis wrapped their weekend road trip Saturday against McMurry University on Saturday.

McMurry swept all three Women's doubles matches.

McMurry swept the Women's singles matches but Elena Brancaleon (San Antonio/Louis D. Brandeis) pushed McMurry's Hope Turner to a decisive third set - ultimately losing the match 3-6, 6-4, 7-10.

For the men, McMurry swept both doubles and singles competition.

Matthew Stephenson (Wharton/Wharton) Hunter-Kembell Cook (Friendswood/Clear Brook) had a back-and-forth match with the McMurry duo of Chase Daniel & Reid Smith before ultimately dropping the set 8-5.

The Bulldogs fall season continues as they prepare for the impending Intercollegiate Tennis Association tournament in Houston, Texas October 1-3.
