TLU Women's Tennis drops 5-4 decision to Sul Ross State

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Tennis lost a tight non-conference match with Sul Ross State, 5-4, Friday afternoon at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.
 
The Bulldogs registered singles wins from Mary Eby, Kaitlyn Enloe, and Baylee Parrott and a doubles win from Eby and Enloe.
 
Eby won at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Enloe won at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-4, and Parrott recorded the win at No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-3.
 
Eby and Enloe produced an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles.
 
TLU played with five players, so Sul Ross collected wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles with walkovers.
 
The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday, April 9 with a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match against Schreiner. The match starts at 5 p.m. in Kerrville, Texas.
