Concordia Texas records 9-0 road win over Texas Lutheran

SEGUIN, Texas -- Men's and women's tennis teams from Concordia Texas recorded 9-0 team wins Sunday afternoon over Texas Lutheran.
 
At TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center, Concordia Texas did not drop a set in either match against the Bulldogs.
 
TLU senior Mary Eby played a tight match at No. 1 singles. Isabella Wilk defeated Eby 7-5, 6-3.
 
Baylee Parrott was in a close match with Claire Austin at No. 2 singles before Parrot needed to retire from the match. Austin won the first set 7-5.
 
On the men's side, Matthew Stephenson and Ryan Schulte fell 8-4 at No. 1 singles.
 
The Bulldog Men dropped to 0-3 overall. TLU Women fell to 0-2.
 
The Bulldogs' next matches are set for Friday, March 5 at Southwestern University. The women's and men's matches are set to begin at 5 p.m. in Georgetown,Texas.
