Texas Lutheran tennis squads drop road matches versus nationally-ranked Trinity
SAN ANTONIO -- Texas Lutheran Men's and Women's Tennis dropped road matches Friday evening to nationally-ranked squads from Trinity University.
Trinity won both matches 9-0.
The TLU Women fell to 4-4 overall with the loss to the 18th-ranked Tigers.
The TLU Men moved to 2-7 overall with the loss to the 12th-ranked Tigers.
In the women's match, TLU's No. 1 doubles team of Samantha Stafford and Kaitlyn Enloe fought to an 8-4 defeat against Zoe Kaffen and Francesca Canjar.
In the men's match, Joshua Bowman fell 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles, and Matthew Stephenson lost 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
TLU is back in action in Seguin this Thursday for a home dual match against Southwestern. Start time at the Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center is 5 p.m.
