TLU Men's Tennis concludes trip with 2-1 mark; Women's Tennis 1-2 on road

NEW ORLEANS -- Texas Lutheran Men's Tennis concluded its 2019 spring break trip with an 8-1 loss to Loyola (La.) on Wednesday and posted a 2-1 record during the trip.

TLU Women's Tennis finished its trip with a 1-2 mark after a 9-0 loss to Loyola, also on Wednesday.

TLU Men posted team victories on the trip over Centenary (La.) and Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.).

TLU Women grabbed a 9-0 win over Centenary (La.) on Saturday.

Both squads are now 3-2 overall on the season.

The teams play their first spring matches at home this season when they host Howard Payne on Friday, March 22 at TLU's newly-dedicated Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center. The matches are set to begin at 3 p.m. in Seguin.
