SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran's (2-3-1) winning streak came to an end after a 1-0 loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor Monday night at Gustafson Field.
UMHB (4-1-1) scored the game's only goal in the 57th minute. TLU totaled 11 shots in the game with the Crusaders keepers combining for five saves.
Both teams had chances throughout before the Crusaders broke the draw in the 57th minute. Callie Brame (San Antonio/Churchill) led the Bulldogs with four shots with two on target.
Alysa Marquez (Miami, FL/Dr. Michael Krop) finished with six saves in the match.
The Bulldogs will look to rebound on Friday, Sept. 27, against Southwestern in non-conference play. The match is scheduled for a 7 PM kickoff and will be streamed on TLU+. All streaming and live stats links can be found on tlubulldogs.com.
