Bulldogs Fall to Concordia (TX), 4-0

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's soccer continued non-conference play with a 4-0 loss to Concordia University Wednesday night at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas.

The Bulldogs (0-4-1) were outshot 23-6 in the contest, 11-1 in the second half. The Tornados (1-2-2) also held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Sophomore goalkeeper Charleigh Phipps (Dripping Springs/Dripping Springs) suffered the loss in goal, allowing three goals in the game, but recorded 7 saves as well. 

Six different Bulldogs took shots for the Bulldogs in the game.

The Tornados took a 2-0 advantage into halftime with Phipps making four saves in the first half.

The Tornados tacked on two more goals in the second half to blow past the Bulldogs and secure the victory.
