Sierra, Avila Named to SCAC All-Tournament Team

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- At the conclusion of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament, the conference awarded eleven All-Tournament Team honors. Senior Monique Sierra (San Antonio/Taft) and junior Liliana Avila (Blanco/Blanco) were the two selections for Texas Lutheran.

Both Avila and Sierra were defensive standouts in the Bulldogs semifinal matchup against Southwestern University.

The Bulldogs season was brought to an end by the Pirates with a 4-0 loss in the SCAC Tournament semifinals. The Bulldogs concluded their season with a 6-11 record.
