SAN ANTONIO -- St. Mary's (Texas) scored a 12-0 non-conference victory Sunday afternoon against the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs.
At St. Mary's Sigma Beta Chi Field, the Rattlers scored seven goals in the first half and added five more in the second.
St. Mary's, out of the NCAA Division II, improved to 4-2 overall.
TLU, out of the NCAA Division III, fell to 2-3 overall.
St. Mary's Alexis Lawrence scored four goals on eight shots, and teammate Kylie Von Holle added three goals on seven shots.
Micah Williams registered three goals on five shots and added an assist.
St. Mary's out-shot TLU 43-1. The Rattlers had 22 shots on goal. TLU's Elana Rivera made 10 saves.
The Bulldogs return to action this Friday, March 19 with a home match against Austin College. Game time is set for 5 p.m. at TLU's Gustafson Field. Live video and live stats will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
