TLU Bulldogs Shutout Austin College at TLU's Gustafson Field

SEGUIN, Texas – The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs improve to 6-3-1 after a dominant 4-0 victory over the Austin College Kangaroos to start conference play.

At Gustafson Field, Raquel Morris was key to the Bulldog's victory netting a hat trick with goals coming in at the 8^th, 61^st, and 66^th minutes of play. Two of Morris' goals were unassisted with only the second coming of a pass from Mariela Candelario.

The game's fourth and final goal was scored by Madison Alexander off an assist from Madison Murphy in the 68^th minute.

The Bulldogs out-shot the Kangaroos 20-14 with 10 shots in each half by the Bulldogs.

Goalkeeper Madison Stout got the clean sheet with two saves for the day.

The Kangaroos drop 2-6-1 on the year.

The Bulldogs next game will be conference matchup against the University of Dallas at Gustafson Field. Match time is this Sunday, October 6^th, at noon.
