Texas Lutheran Opens at Hal Sutton Invitational
BOSSIER CITY, LA -- Texas Lutheran women's golf opened the 2025 Hal Sutton Invitational at the Centenary College Golf Club at Stonebridge on Monday.
Texas Lutheran only has three golfers participating in the tournament and will not configure in the team standings.
Freshman Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) paced the Bulldogs shooting 11-over (83), finishing in seventh place through the opening 18 holes.
Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) entered the clubhouse tied for 16th place at 20-over par while Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) sits in a tie for 26th after an opening round score of 99 (+27).
The Bulldogs will begin their final round tomorrow at 8 AM.
