Bulldogs Wrap Hal Sutton Invitational

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team wrapped the 2024 Hal Sutton Invitational Tuesday at the Centenary College Golf Club at Stonebridge.

Texas Lutheran only has two golfers - sophomore Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) and junior Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) - participating in the invitational and will not configure into the team standings.

Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) paced the Bulldogs on day two with a 14-over 72 in the final round Tuesday. She finished the Classic 42-over and tied for 18th place in the 36-hole tournament.

Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) finished tied for 15th with a score of 40-over, signing for 18-over 72 score in round two, besting her first round score by four strokes.

The Bulldogs return to the course next month when they participate in the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern University on April 8th.
