Texas Lutheran's Audre Garza named WGCA All-American Scholar

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Golf student-athlete Audre Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) has been named an All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
 
Garza, a freshman, holds a 3.571 grade point average as an education major.
 
Garza earned her first varsity letter this spring as a member of the TLU Women's Golf team. She finished 16th overall at the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
 
A total of 1,432 women collegiate golfers were recognized Tuesday as WGCA All-American Scholars. To be considered a WGCA All-American Scholar, nominees must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
 
TLU has produced 15 WGCA All-American Scholars in the last five years.
