Texas Lutheran Women's Golf concludes 2021 season at SCAC Championships
BLANCO, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Golf finished its 2021 spring season Tuesday with final-round play at the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
At Vaaler Creek Golf Club, the Bulldogs played with three individuals - Wynter Flores, Audre Garza, and Samantha De La Rosa - and did not figure into the team standings.
Flores (San Antonio/Incarnate Word HS) finished 16th overall with rounds of 82 and 93, and Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) came home 17th after scores of 89 and 91.
De La Rosa (San Antonio/Brennan) registered a 99 and a 98 and placed 22nd.
De La Rosa and Flores are sophomores. Garza is a freshman.
Trinity won the women's title by eight shots over Southwestern. Madison Goldberg of Southwestern won medalist honors.
