Bulldogs conclude play at SCAC Conference Preview

BLANCO, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's golfers Audre Garza and Samantha De La Rosa completed play at the SCAC Conference Preview at Vaaler Creek.

Garza finished 18th overall after a 93 on Monday and a 95 on Tuesday. De La Rosa came home in 23rd.

Trinity won the team title with rounds of 321 and 327. The Tigers edged Southwestern, who shot 329 and 323. Trinity won by four shots, 648 to 652.

Southwestern teammates Linsey Garza and Madison Goldberg tied for the individual title. Garza won in a playoff. She won after one hole. Garza parred the par-four 18th. Goldberg found the water and carded a triple bogey.

University of St. Thomas finished in third place in the team standings after rounds of 347 and 335.
