TLU Women's Golf concludes play at Schreiner Spring Shootout

KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Golf finished play Tuesday at the Schreiner University Spring Shootout with individuals Audre Garza and Samantha De La Rosa producing 38th and 53rd overall finishes, respectively.
 
Garza followed up Monday's 90 with a 94 on Tuesday. De La Rosa carded a 108 after Monday's 100.
 
Karen Alvarez of the University of Texas at Dallas won the individual title with a 154 total. She posted a 78 on Monday and a 76 on Tuesday. Alvarez won by two shots over Madyson Millorn of Concordia Texas.
 
Texas Dallas won the overall title by two shots over Trinity and by four shots over Mary Hardin-Baylor.
 
The Bulldogs' next tournament is the SCAC Conference Preview at Vaaler Creek in Blanco, Texas. The tournament runs March 22-23. TLU is the host of the tournament.
