TLU Women's Golf competes in first round of Trinity's Alamo City Classic
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Golf team members Audre Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) and Samantha De La Rosa (San Antonio/Brennan) competed Monday in the first round of Trinity University's Alamo City Classic.
At The Quarry Golf Club, De La Rosa and Garza competed as individuals. TLU did not field a full team for the tournament and does not factor in the team scoring.
Garza is tied for 26th after shooting a 102. De La Rosa is 31st after a 117.
University of Texas at Dallas leads the tournament after round one. The Comets shot a team score of 306 and lead host Trinity by 12 shots.
The tournament concludes Tuesday at The Quarry with a final 18 holes.
