Mulkey Selected to 2024-25 D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team
SEGUIN, Texas -- Senior guard Kailee Mulkey (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) has been named to the 2024-25 D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
This is Mulkey's first career All-Region honor from the organization. An All-SCAC First Team honoree for the third consecutive season, the New Braunfels native led Texas Lutheran in scoring with 12.9 points and steals with 2.8 per game and finished with an average of 6.9 rebounds per game, leading all SCAC guards. She scored in double figures in 21 of her 29 outings including three 20-point games along with a team-high six double-doubles. Nationally, Mulkey finished 27th in steals (80) this season, with her 80 steals ranking the second most in a single-season in program history.
Mulkey concludes her career as Texas Lutheran's fifth all-time leading scorer with 1,196 points and the program's all-time leader in steals in the program's NCAA history (224). She also finishes eighth in the program's NCAA history in assists (197) and third in rebounds (576).
Texas Lutheran finished its season with a 24-5 (.828) overall record for what is by any metric the best season in program history which included a 14-2 SCAC mark, the most wins since joining the conference in 2013-14, a SCAC Gold Division Co-Championship, winning the 2025 SCAC Tournament, and picked up the first NCAA Tournament win in program history.
