#RV Texas Lutheran Rolls Past Concordia (TX), 64-43

SEGUIN, Texas -- Four players scored in double figures as the #RV Texas Lutheran women's basketball team rolled past Concordia (TX) 64-43 Saturday evening at Memorial Gymnasium.

Sarahi Jones (Los Fresnos/Los Fresnos) and Kailee Mulkey (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) led the Bulldogs with 16 points each while Jones grabbed 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Mulkey finished one rebound shy of a double-double and added a team-high four steals. Angelina Sotelo (San Marcos/San Marcos) had 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists while Zaria Solis (Burnet/Burnet) finished a career-high 10 points, three rebounds, and two blocks off the bench for the Bulldogs. Juliett Martinez (San Antonio/Reagan) led the Bulldogs with five assists off the bench.

After struggling from the field on Friday against McMurry, Texas Lutheran (15-3, 9-1 SCAC) had no such problems on Saturday, shooting 48.1 percent from the field for the game.

The Bulldogs would lead the game wire-to-wire after starting the game with an 11-4 run. TLU would lead 17-11 after the first quarter with a team-leading six points from Solis off the bench proving to be the difference.

Texas Lutheran led by as many as 13 points in the second quarter and would carry a ten point lead into halftime with Mulkey's eight points leading the Bulldogs through the quarter.

TLU didn't let up coming out of the locker room, starting the second half on a 10-2 run and leading by as many as a game-high 26 points before cruising the rest of the way. Every active member of the Bulldogs roster saw at least one minute of action on Saturday.
