Softball Announces Fall Schedule

SEGUIN, Texas -- The three-time regional champion and eight-time SCAC Champion Texas Lutheran softball team announced its 2022 fall schedule on Tuesday. The slate features three scrimmages all played at Ed Kruse Stadium in Seguin against Galveston College and open to the public.

The Bulldogs will face the Whitecaps at 12 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM on October 22.

The 2022-23 team returns All-American Ashlyn Strother (Seabrook/Clear Falls), All-Region pitcher Sydney Ouellette (Corpus Christi/Gregory-Portland), and four additional All-SCAC honorees, Laura Hernandez (Missouri City/Ridge Point), Madison Johnson (Round Rock/Round Rock), Bailey Hudgeons (Dripping Springs/Dripping Springs), and Amanda White (Lockhart/Lockhart). The Bulldogs are coming off a dominant 2022 campaign that saw the team finish with a program record 45-6 record in 2022, finishing first in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and making its third consecutive appearance in the Division-III Women's College World Series. The Bulldogs would conclude the season ranked No. 3 in the country in a record breaking season that saw the Bulldogs win 26 straight games during one stretch and break the NCAA team stolen base record - stealing 231 bases on the season.
