SAN ANTONIO -- The fourth-ranked Texas Lutheran Bulldogs powered their way to a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victories Tuesday evening at Trinity University.

In game two, TLU jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings.

In the four-run first, the Bulldogs started the scoring with a Rebecca Snow RBI single. Raines delivered a sacrifice fly, and three of the four runs were unearned due to Trinity miscues.

In the three-run second, Snow had another RBI single, and Ouellette and Bloxham each had RBI.

Snow drove in her third run of the night with a sacrifice fly in the fourth, and Brandalyn Dee added an RBI with a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch.

Snow was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and the three RBI. Kelly Jurden added two hits and two runs scored and a stolen base.

The top three in TLU's lineup - Jurden, Casey Martin and Snow - combined to score six runs.

Sydney Ouellette went the distance in the five-inning game. She struck out three and walked just one. She allowed one earned run in improving to 7-2 overall.

The two wins Tuesday pushed Bulldog Head Coach Wade Wilson to the 700th-win mark when combining his 317 wins at TLU and his 383 wins at the high school level.

TLU is back in action Thursday and Friday with a four-game series against Schreiner University. All four games will be played at TLU's Ed Kruse Stadium (Morck Softball Field).

The first three games of the series will count as SCAC contests. The fourth game will be a non-conference contest.
