SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran senior outfielder Rebecca Snow smashed a pair of grand slam home runs and drove in 10 runs as the No. 2-ranked Bulldogs split a Friday night doubleheader with NCAA Division II opponent St. Edward's.

St. Edward's held on for the 10-9 win in game one. TLU came back to post an 11-3 win in five innings in game two.

Snow's grand slam home run in the seventh inning of game one brought the Bulldogs within a run. TLU then loaded the bases and had the winning run at second base before the final out was recorded on a pop fly.

In game two, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 6-0 lead with six runs in the first. Snow hit her second grand slam of the night in the third inning of game two.

Snow, a member of TLU's 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship, finished the doubleheader 3-for-6 with three runs scored, 10 RBI, and one walk.

Kelly Jurden, Snow, and Chassety Raines each scored a pair of runs in the early game. Jurden scored three runs in the second game and had three stolen bases in the two games.

The Bulldogs walked 14 times in the first game and six more times in the second.

Ashlyn Strother improved to 2-0 with the second-game victory. The freshman right-hander struck out six and allowed three earned runs.
