Men’s Track & Field Ranked No. 9 in First USTFCCCA Outdoor Index
SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's track and field come in ranked No. 9 in the initial U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Rating Index for the 2024 outdoor season released Tuesday evening.
In its history outdoors, Texas Lutheran has cracked the national top-10 a total of three times, with the previous two instances occurring last season - reaching as high as a program record No. 7 in the country.
Overall, this is the 26th appearance in the outdoor national top-25 for the Bulldog men dating back to 2017.
Texas Lutheran currently has six marks that rank inside the top 10 of the national rankings this season; a full list of those performances can be viewed below.

Bryce Powell-Chimene – No. 8 – 400 meter – 48.27

Ezra Acero – No. 8 – Pole Vault – 4.60m
Dalon Harris - No. 10 - Discus - 46.46m (152' 5")
TLU has competed in three meets this season following last weekend's D3 Challenge home meet. The Bulldogs kicked off the year at Trinity and UT-Arlington.
