Texas Lutheran Competes in Day One of Men's ITA Southwest Regional Championships

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's tennis team competed in day one of the 2023 ITA Southwest Regional Championships Thursday hosted by Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

The Bulldogs dropped both of their singles outings in straight sets in the A Draw Thursday afternoon.

Eric Moninger (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) fell in straight sets 3-6, 4-6 while Cashton Herrera (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) fell 0-6, 1-6. Both will compete in the consolation bracket on Friday while Moninger will also compete in doubles competition.

The Bulldogs also dropped their lone doubles match as Cashton Herrera and Austin Hudson (San Marcos/San Marcos) fell to Concordia (TX), 8-1.
