SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis was swept by the visiting McMurry War Hawks, 9-0, on Sunday morning at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.

The young Bulldogs squad was swept in doubles competition. The team of Simon Carandang (Austin/Akins) and Aaron Salinas (Kerrville/Tivy) fought to a tightly contested finish of 8-6.

Men's tennis would drop all six singles matches with Dristan Weaver (Schertz/Clemens) and Quinn Johnson (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) pushing their match to decisive third sets. Joshua Huang (Port Lavaca/Calhoun) and Simon Carandang would also have extremely competitive matches before falling in straight sets.

Up next, Texas Lutheran returns to conference play as they travel to Sherman, Texas, to face Austin College on Saturday, March 5th. First serve is set for 10 AM.
