HOUSTON, TX -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis dropped their first conference match of the season to St. Thomas, 7-2, Saturday afternoon at Memorial Park Tennis Center in Houston, Texas.

The Bulldogs squad were swept in doubles competition. The team of Dristan Weaver (Schertz/Clemens) and Quinn Johnson (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) pushed their match to a 7-8 (2-7) finish.

Joshua Huang (Port Lavaca/Calhoun) and Quinn Johnson would pick up their first singles wins of the season Saturday afternoon. Huang would split the first two sets 6-2, 3-6 before winning the tiebreaker, 10-7. Johnson would win in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.

Texas Lutheran is back in action on Thursday, February 24th, in a neutral site match against the Covenant Scots. First serve is set for 11 AM.
