SEGUIN, TX -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis dropped their home match to East Texas Baptist Friday afternoon, 9-0.

The young Bulldogs squad was swept in doubles competition. The team of Dristan Weaver (Schertz/Clemens) and Quinn Johnson (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) lost a tightly contested match 8-5.

Men's tennis would drop all six singles matches with Simon Carandang (Austin/Akins) pushing his match to a three set 1-6, 7-6, 8-9 conclusion. Joshua Huang (Port Lavaca/Calhoun) and Dristan Weaver would also have extremely competitive matches before falling in straight sets.

Texas Lutheran begins a two-match road trip next week as they head to Austin, Texas, to face Concordia University on Friday, February 18th. First serve is set for 12 PM.
