Men's Soccer Drops Contest to No. 4 Colorado College

SEGUIN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's soccer team (6-2-4, 2-2-3 SCAC) fell to 4th-ranked Colorado College (12-1-2, 7-0 SCAC) Sunday afternoon at Gustafson Field.

Texas Lutheran was limited to four shots with none coming on goal. Colorado College out shot the Bulldogs 8-4 and held a 5-0 advantage in shots on goal.

In a matchup that featured two of the top defenses in Division-III, it lived up to its billing as the two teams were scoreless for over 80 minutes until an 81st minute goal from the Tigers broke the tie.

A penalty kick two minutes later doubled the Tigers lead and brought the game to its final score.

Texas Lutheran heads on the road for its final road trip of 2024 starting with a matchup with the University of the Ozarks on Friday, Oct. 25 at 5 PM. The match will be streamed on FloSports. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
