Noah Harris Named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

SEGUIN, Texas -- After leading Texas Lutheran to a 1-0-1 weekend, senior defender Noah Harris (Missouri City/Elkins) was tabbed the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday evening.

It is the first weekly honor of Harris's career.

Harris, a native of Missouri City, Texas, anchored TLU's back line last week as the Bulldogs held Dallas to two shots with none coming on goal and Austin College to three shots with only one coming on goal en route to extending their clean sheet streak to four. Texas Lutheran has not given up a goal in their last 366 minutes and 55 seconds of action, dating back to the second half against Otterbein (Sept. 8).

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 11, as they carry their clean sheet streak to San Antonio as they face rival and 24th-ranked Trinity. Kickoff is set for 5 PM. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
