Eddie Salazar Clinches 100th Career Win At TLU With Bulldog Victory Over The University Of Dallas

SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran University Men's Soccer Team completes shutout over The University of Dallas Crusaders, giving Head Coach Eddie Salazar his 100^th career victory at Texas Lutheran University.

The Bulldogs improve to 8-3-0 overall, and 2-0-0 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action. The Crusaders fall to 2-6-1 overall, and 0-1-1 in SCAC play with the loss.

After a slow first half, the Bulldogs ramped it up with three goals scored in the second half. The first goal came when Braulio Adam scored off an assist from Marco Roman in the 60^th minute. Ten minutes later Santiago Quinonez scored in the 70^th minute off an assist from Ralph Miller. The final Bulldog goal was a clean back-heel shot into the bottom left corner from Cameron Townes with the assist coming from Luis Green.

The Bulldogs led the Crusaders in corner kicks 13-2.

Caleb Weed got the clean sheet with eight saves on the day.

The Bulldogs will play again Friday in a SCAC matchup against Johnson and Wales University - Denver, in Denver, Colorado, Friday October 11^th at 5:00 PM.
