Wills Finishes Day One in Top Ten, Bulldogs in Sixth Place at Linda Lowery Invitational
ROUND ROCK, Texas -- Senior Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) led the Texas Lutheran men's golf team to a sixth place finish after day one at the Linda Lowery Invitational hosted by Concordia University at Teravista Golf Club in Round Rock, Texas, shooting a one-over 73 placing him in a tie for tenth place and four strokes back of the lead through 18 holes.
Texas Lutheran sits in sixth place overall in the ten team field at 15-over (303). Mary Hardin-Baylor leads the tournament at two-under, 286.
Tyler Givilancz (Schertz/Clemens) tied for 18th place with a first day tally of 75 to finish three-over par. Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) finished a stroke behind Givilancz to finish 24th.
Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) finished in 36th place at seven-over par while Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) finished a stroke behind him to enter the clubhouse in 41st.
Texas Lutheran's final round tees off at 8:30 AM on Tuesday.
