Bulldogs in Seventh After Day One at SCAC Fall Preview

LAKE WHITNEY, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran's men's golf team currently sits in seventh place (+21) after the opening round of their 2024 fall season opening tournament, the 2024 SCAC Fall Preview, at White Bluff Golf Resort in Lake Whitney, Texas.

Perennial all-conference finisher Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) leads the Bulldogs through day one, sitting in a tie for 13th place at two-over (74). Tyler Givilancz (Schertz/Clemens) trails Wills by a stroke to sit in a tie for 16th place.

Texas Lutheran senior Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) fired off an 18-hole score of 79 (+7) to sit in a tie for 32nd place. The trio of Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville), Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston), and John Tennill (Corpus Christi/Calallen) sit in a tie for 39th place with an 81 (+9).

Trinity University sits in first place in the team race with a score of 292 (+4), leading the tournament by eight strokes.

The Bulldogs will begin their final round tomorrow at White Bluff with live stats available at golfstat.com.
